What’s in a house?

Kitchen, where I tend to cook or bake,

In the living room is where I call the lazy room,

Listen to the sounds of the night as you stand in the bathroom.

Like a child, I run up the stairs or through the hallways

Master bedrooms are reserved for the evening activities at a certain age,

Even though there are times when you’re just there staring at the ceiling…

Prancing around other free rooms, there isn’t anything else that needs introducing

Luck is all you need to find in a house.

Every house is a sacred place where one can live peacefully,

After the day’s events and settled discrepancies,

Sitting down on the couch is where I’d be….

Erasing any negative memories of the place I’m used to.

Is this feeling healthy?

Of all the things to feel, one would feel many things

Altogether:

Liking someone romantically who’s barely there anymore,

Of all the twins who are around me, I’m the shy one…

Nearly giving up because it’s hard to raise three children

Early in the morning, I wake up, and no one is there beside me.

Love sucks in general and there’s no one to prove to me otherwise,

Yesterday’s news is always today’s problem, and it’s hard to fix that…
